leave behinds

so as this is supposed to be my blog where i post designs and there is an absence of design, i figured it was about time to change it up. sooo i'm just hoping no one will jack my swag or see any of this turn up on "you thought we wouldn't notice... dot com".

anyway, a month or two ago is when i graduated and during that time, we're supposed to create samples and leave behinds. I thought to leave behind some artwork i composed on illustrator cause I thought "it's something i like to do, and hopefully people will like my style". So without further adieu, i present these samples. people thought they were stickers and im thinking...thats not a bad idea.

if you want them sent to you as some sweet room decor...don't be afraid to holla. will put more designs! promise!

refresher

Maintaining a blog is definitely something to be commended for doing. But then again, it's esentially writing a journal. A journal to share to the world of your experiences, your day, an insight on your life. Sooo enough of this jibba-jabba already and let's dive in to a recap.

So as many of you that read this may know, I went to texas to meet up with my family. A bonus to this excursion was the chance to see one of my best friends whom i haven't seen in 2 years.

Needless to say, it was a pretty momentous experience and I mean, I don't want to sound all mooshy, but a lot of emotions and thoughts were running through my mind...for one, Texas has very cheap gas (ok bad timing for a joke but c'mon)

Seeing someone you haven't seen in a while just makes leaving them, a really hard ordeal. You catch up and talk about things that happened since the last time you've seen them, seen how many things have changed. Almost like a living time capsule. I could say more, but i'll just let a picture do the explanation.
people, places, and experiences change over time. But it's important to remember not to change too much and be someone you don't want to be.

so the time i spent in texas was short. needless to say, it just means i had a lot of fun.

cause time flies when you're having fun. that doesn't change.

2 weeks

It's been 2 weeks since i graduated...or rather, did the portfolio show. The true graduation ceremony is in december and i won't be there on account that I will be heading home before the actual ceremony. In 2 weeks I will be heading to El Paso and Houston Texas. This will be my first time in Texas and already i'm going to two very well known areas...that are on the opposite end of each other.

I'm currently facing the real world and although it has its rough patches, for the most part it's very exciting to be done with school and dealing with these issues. At the moment, I will have to meet up with a client regarding internship projects...Hopefully i'm up for the challenge (I should be) and I'll have to fine tune some of the freelance work i'm doing for another client.

Woo..I will update with a few doodles...I hope to update with some designs later too.
